PawPicks UK (pawpicks.co.uk) is a static website with no user accounts, no contact forms, and no advertising. We take privacy seriously — and the best way to protect your privacy is to collect as little data as possible. So we don't.

What Data We Collect

First-party data: None.

We do not use analytics software, and we do not set any cookies ourselves. We have no newsletter sign-up and no user accounts.

If you visit this site and do nothing but read, we have no meaningful record of your visit — see "Error Monitoring" below for the one exception.

Hosting

PawPicks UK is hosted by Vercel (Vercel Inc.). As our hosting provider, Vercel may process certain technical information as part of delivering the site to you — such as your IP address and browser type — in order to route and serve web requests. This is standard infrastructure processing.

Error Monitoring

This site uses Sentry (Functional Software, Inc.), a client-side error-monitoring service, to catch and fix JavaScript errors. If your browser hits an error while you're on the site, a small technical report — such as the error message, the page URL, and basic browser/device information — may be sent to Sentry. This does not use cookies and is not used for advertising, profiling, or tracking your browsing across other sites; it exists purely so we can spot and fix bugs.

Cookies

PawPicks UK does not set any advertising or tracking cookies. The only cookie we set ourselves is a small, strictly-necessary cookie that remembers your cookie-notice choice (accept/reject) so we don't ask you again — this is exempt from consent under UK PECR because it's necessary to provide the setting you asked for. It stores no personal data and isn't used for tracking or profiling.

This site contains affiliate links, including to Amazon UK. If you click one of those links, you will be taken to a third-party website, and that site may set its own cookies on your device once you're there. Those cookies are that site's responsibility, not ours — for example, Amazon's privacy policy applies once you're on their site: amazon.co.uk/privacy.

We have no access to or control over cookies set by Amazon or any other third-party site we link to.

Your Rights Under UK GDPR

Under UK GDPR, you have rights including the right to access, rectify, or erase personal data we hold about you. Since we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, rectify, or erase.

Our reviews link to external sites (primarily Amazon UK, and occasionally brand websites). Once you leave PawPicks, this privacy policy no longer applies. We recommend reading the privacy policy of any site you visit.
